The Police and your local file

Here's a shocker for you. The Police, when giving information from your file don't need to make sure the information they give, is ACTUALLY correct.

In effect, mallicious people can make false statements about you, this will then be kept by the Police for ever, and rehashed to all and sundry regardless.

Where it is assumed the Police are upstanding, truthful and beyond reproach, I have it from the mouth of the ACC of the local force, that: "he is not really concerned if the information is correct or not, just that it appears on their system. There is no compunction for him to verify the information is correct, and as such, he will reveal all of the information if he thinks it is appropriate to do so".

Beware..
