Has anyone ever tried to get an appointment with their CPO?
I am finding it very annoying that he is unavailable for a meeting with me to discuss issues he is ultimately responsible for under Home Office guidelines!
Yes, he has no day-to-day responsibilities for the questionable tasks because he has a team of senior staff who do all the work. However, he is ultimately responsible should it become a matter for the court, because the buck stops with him.
I'm NOT mistaken in the fact that his wages are paid by me and other citizens from our taxes yet he has delegated the meeting to a subordinate officer. He may well be very busy doing what he does, attending award presentations (where I met him, shook his hand and requested a meeting), and the like BUT so am I, trying to earn a living!
I will keep you informed about progress.
